CreaScreen ("we", "our", or "us") operates the CreaScreen mobile application (Admin app) and the CreaScreen Player application (TV app), collectively referred to as the "Service". This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
  • Display name — shown within the app for personalization
  • Industry type — selected during onboarding to customize your experience

1.2 Content Data

We store the content you upload to the Service, including images, videos, and text-based content items. This content is stored securely in Firebase Cloud Storage and is only accessible by you and the TV screens you have paired.

1.3 Device Information

We collect limited device information for screen pairing and management:

  • Device identifiers for paired TV screens
  • Screen resolution and orientation settings
  • Online/offline status of paired screens

1.4 Camera Access

The Admin app requests camera permission solely for scanning QR codes to pair TV screens. We do not capture, store, or transmit camera images for any other purpose.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Pair and manage your TV screens
  • Deliver your content to paired screens
  • Send you service-related notifications (e.g., screen offline alerts)
  • Improve and optimize the Service

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Authentication — for secure user sign-in
  • Firebase Cloud Firestore — for real-time data storage
  • Firebase Cloud Storage — for media file storage
  • Firebase Cloud Functions — for server-side operations
  • Firebase App Check — for app integrity verification

These services are provided by Google LLC and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Firebase servers located in the European Union (europe-west1 region). We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • End-to-end encryption for data in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Firebase Security Rules to enforce access control
  • Server-side validation via Cloud Functions
  • App Check attestation to prevent API abuse

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and uploaded content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored in your account
  • Correct inaccurate information via the Settings screen
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Export your content and account information

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date above.
